CHILDREN'S CLASSES We think it makes a real difference to how children feel about their dancing if they are wearing a 'uniform' and proper dance shoes, so all DANCE DEFINITY pupils wear a T shirt with our logo on it. A loose fitting T shirt and Jazz trousers or leggings allows the body to move and stretch freely and dance shoes protect and support the feet. ALL CLASSES Black DANCE DEFINITY loose fitting T shirt - from £10 to buy from us. Black Footless Capri Pants or plain black Leggings or Jazz Trousers Black Rubber Sole Jazz Shoe or Split Sole Jazz Trainers Long hair must be tied back HOODIES DANCE DEFINITY Hoodies are an optional addition to our T shirts. They are black and generously fitted, with a zip up front and the DD logo print on the back. Your child's name can also be printed on the front. ADULT CLASSES For the Latin & Line Dance classes - we suggest wearing clothes that you can move freely in and a low heeled shoe with a smooth sole so that you can twist your feet. A small heel also forces your weight forwards onto the balls of the feet, which will help your dancing. Flat shoes are not recommended. For our ZUMBA classes we recommend loose fitting 'workout' style clothing and either jazz dance trainers or ordinary trainers but without a 'grippy' sole as you need to be able to twist the feet without putting pressure on the knees. We also suggest that you wear layers as you will probably (hopefully!) get a bit hot & sweaty! PLEASE BRING WATER to drink to ALL classes!
