URBAN DANCE FACTORY are members of the International Dance Teachers Association (IDTA) and we follow the IDTA Freestyle Syllabus. We hold an Examination session with the IDTA for all our students once a year, normally just before Easter. We have a 100% pass rate. All students currently attending classes are encouraged to enter for their dance Exams as this builds confidence in their dancing, although it is not compulsory. All dancers normally start with the SOCIAL DANCE AWARD. moving onto the graded ONE DANCE SERIES, before taking BRONZE, SILVER & GOLD (& above) medals. Students are recognised for their achievements at our annual MEDAL PRESENTATION & DANCE SHOW where everyone is presented with their medal and certificate from the IDTA.
